I've been thinking deeply about this C19 virus situation and the connection we have to our mother Earth. Some of us are now recovering from illness whilst others are becoming Ill. We are being asked to stay home to avoid unnecessary contact with other people. Our lives are changing very rapidly due to this virus. There are so many ways that this can go and so many people who believe the reasoning in the their own thought resonates with this forced situation. But take a moment, step back and be still, look, listen and remember.......
"As the children of the mother Earth still themselves, they are once again reminded of the beauty and brutality of mother nature. The unconditional giving of her resources to give us life and a space in the circle of all her children. A gesture which has amounted to the devastating desperation of her riding the waves of destruction we have wrought on her.
As we contemplate our existence and become aware of that which comes more naturally to us, rather than act in the way we've been programmed to for so long, we begin to think differently, experience new things. These differences are that which will make our hearts sing. At last we hear the beat of the grandmother drum, the beating heart of Gaia. At last we feel our own heartsong and spirit soaring above the din which has made us deaf to our true purpose. Whilst we travel this new path with an open heart & mind, we can see and feel the mother profoundly healing herself and at last many of us realise that our prayers, intentions, meditations, spells and incantations are being heard and answered.
Even in this strange new situation we are faced with ourselves!
By preventing the children of the mother Earth from continuing in our normalised abnormal behaviours which have become daily lives. Being faced with ourselves, now in this time of turmoil and newness we become the children we should have been all along. Mindful, creative, resourceful, caring, selfless and unconditional in our love for she who has given freely to us. Time to rise like the Phoenix, United in her cause, calling the children to the mother, to remember what had been lost.
And amongst this change and turmoil, the mother Earth took a deep breathe and exhaled purified skies and seas. And fishes were again seen where they hadn't been seen for too long.
The next step is yours.....choose wisely. "
