AA FM Aquarius 23-24 July 2021

@3:36 UTC

All Hail & Welcome welcome welcome! All well meaning cosmic travellers & the curious are welcome in this space. Welcome aboard the intergalactic journeying portal I embark upon each Full & New lunar phase. Please make yourselves comfortable, park your broom, pick a toadstool or rock to be seated upon, set your curiosity to eyes & arms wide open to receive the goodness that this journey offers you all in perfect love & perfect trust. I begin by naming this months moons and offering you links to non-bias lists of events for the month ahead. I will discuss all things astrological for this phase and just beyond, how this may effect us and how we can cope with this phase. Lastly I will list all of the astronomical events for the month of full bloom August. So without further ado….

Naming the Moons

Naming the full moon each month is an olde phenomenon indicating the changing seasons, agricultural and ecological events during the year. Given geographical variants these names differ dependant on geographical region. The Native American names for July’s full moon are Hay Moon, Summer Moon, Thunder Moon & Buck Moon. Buck Moon is named such because it is at this time of year that bucks gain their horns. The Montana tribes named this moon the Red Berries Moon:. The Northern Canadian Inuit name for this moon is Dry Moon. Across the continents and the Chinese name for this moon is the Hungry Ghost Moon. A time where the veils of the worlds are considered thin and where familial ghosts may return to where they were happiest. In India it is the month of Asdha until July 25th when this changes to the lunar month of Srvana. In Britain, the ancient Celtic Medieval names are Claiming Moon, Wyrt / Herb Moon, Mead Moon. The Druidic calendar suggests that we are in the month of Holly, Tinne, from 8th July to 4th August. This is a feminine moon known as the Moon of Encirclement or the Moon of Polarity, with aspects of protection, Magick for animals & sex magick for us! On 5th August we will enter into the month of Hazel.

This month, rather than write about all of the fabulous spiritual & religious events, I shall provide you with links to sites with this information. Please click the links below for non - bias religious & spiritual observances for the month ahead. If there are any other sites with information that you would like to see featured in this section, please send me a link in the comments or message me via the website:-

Astrology

Our beautiful celestial being will enter Full phase on 23-24 July, depending on your geographical area. A Full moon occurs when the sun & moon are opposite each other. This aspect brings turmoil & tension between the two, ego versus emotion, external versus internal us, work versus home. They are in opposite zodiac signs and as such this could cause drama in our lives, depending on which energies we are attuned to. If we can keep ourselves within the parameters of the positive points of each, we keep the energies busy, where they effect us with minimal stress. However, this also depends on what other planetary influences are in play during this phase, which will be discussed further in this section.

We are set to experience so much in terms of emotional changes & global movements. As the Moon moves into the realms of Cardinal Air sign Aquarius the water bearer, we are looking at an Aquarian portal which will complete with a Full Moon in August, also in the sign of Aquarius. So we should be preparing for our inner world to embrace the qualities of this amplified Aquarian energies.

This months full moon in the cardinal air sign of innovative Aquarius represents our inner self, past events , emotions & feelings. Aquarius is the intuitive leader in science & innovation. Bringing in qualities such as humanitarianism, group leadership, intuition, truth & vision. This is a sign that likes to think outside of the box and is often at the forefront of rebellion. This maybe the time to put that energy to use! The negative energies of Aquarius are gullibility, extremes, unpredictability & temperamental behaviour.

Opposite the Moon is Sun in Leo. As we are in fiery Leo season, things have been hotting up as we approach the lions gate season beginning 8/8/21. Our Sun in Leo highlights our ego and the present in which Leo adds leadership, individuality and self expression, grounding and a deep loving, charismatic sensuality. But beware the zodiac's royal drama queen whose playful nature could turn in on itself bringing out the negatives of impulsiveness, egotism , stubbornness, over-valuing the self & overcompensation of desire.

Moon in Aquarius, the water bearer collects emotions in her vessel & alchemically changes them by the power of Air into clean, nourishing rehydration for those who come to drink from the vessel of consciousness. Messages from the cosmos; we are being encouraged to fully immerse ourselves in our own personal journey & blossom with the knowledge we have gained during this time of traversing the mountains & molehills of our unique life’s path; now step into the new us! Being confident enough in our next steps to share our experiences & knowledge with those who make themselves known & prepared for our stories & cosmic messages we carry.

Stand in your truth & shine, rising above condemnation, naysayers & protagonists of old patterns & habits Now! This time is ready for us & our inner-outer glow to shine in the face of all adversity, diversity, transgression & imposition, in perfect timing, love, compassion & connection.

I got tingles writing this!

Planetary aspects:-

Asteroid Chariklo (representing the spiritual side of healing) is also in Aquarius. This journey, if we embark on it, offers us spiritual growth in venturing into an understanding of our higher purpose. There is a calm, healing energy on offer as we see from this etheric facet of healing.

Ask: What can be done with all that has happened in our past to create fuel for our ongoing journeying? How can we turn our experiences into a catalyst for what is to come?

Moon Quincunx (5 signs away from) Venus, the planet of love & money, bringing relationships & finances into the spotlight. There may be irritations between couples or friends in which subtle & huge differences are brought to the fore. It is in the knowledge that these differences are there & the continuance of accepting our benevolent differences within relationship which aids us to overcome feelings of irrationality. In addition, there will be an increase in the need for love, affection & attention too. Tensions emanating from imbalances in the areas of love & emotional support may have originated from past relationships with a parent or peer. This manifests as a karmic issue, which will need addressing by resolution. These issues can be felt & released in a non-confrontational, non-toxic effort to apologise, forgive, thank & show love toward this person, in effect this healing falls directly onto us.

If you feel that this section resonates with you, you could perhaps try a very simplified version of the Hawaiian healing process of Ho’oponopono. I offer you this link in perfect love & trust that you will respect this form of healing.

Venus opposite Jupiter - amplifies differences discussed, in partnerships. Furthermore, we can take a deep dive into self inquiry:

who are we in our relationships & personal lives?

Are we part of the cycles of the cosmos, or do we place ourselves away from it?

Mercury opposite Pluto -

Message - processes of change tend to complete endings. Curiosity peaks. A move in a different direction maybe needed to revolutionise the way in which we live, think & perceive. Problem solving & resolutions!

Where do we need to make personal changes in order to welcome forward motion? What needs to be released to make space for the new/ freedom?

Saturn (moving into Aquarius) conjunct Moon -

Feelings of inadequacy or lack in self trust. Taking responsibility for our thoughts, feelings & actions. Owning our part in responsibility for co-creating a new future.

Trust in the journeying. Be grateful for what is already in our lives everyday. Stand in your own truth & move in your personal authority with ease. Do your inner work if you haven’t already allowing discovery of self empowerment!!!
