Astrology

Things are really heating up this year, with a trio of eclipses all themed toward relationships. We have a lunar eclipse full moon in Sagittarius, with a Mars / Venus effect, which is also going to spice up our lives. lets break this down a little....

The Sun is now in airy, mutable Gemini, so ego is being given a new fresh breeze to float on. Gemini represents liberation , rebellion & change in addition to charm, wit imagination, motivation and intelligence. These are important positive factors, however and this depends entirely on the energies you tap into, Gemini can become superficial, lazy, judgemental, immature and depressive. Which of these aspects of Gemini have you been tapped into for the past couple of weeks? If you can work your way into the positives from the negatives, this would be advantageous, however if you are in a not so good position to do so, it may be time to speak to someone or get help with the emotions you are experiencing during this time. It is important to have a healthy mind as well as a healthy ego.

Full moon is in another mutable sign, fiery Sagittarius. a little while ago I discussed how Sagittarius has the ability to form plans, take aim and fire at them with great skill and accuracy. That is still true of this moon, but you may need to wait to see where this eclipse is going place you before you take aim and fire your intention. Sagittarius moon will highlight your emotions and your want to be free, to say it as it is, all in good nature . Be aware if you are feeling overwhelmed with the darker side of Sagittarius as you could become restless, tactless and irresponsible toward those in your relationships. The thing about a Sagittarius moon is the release and balance that can be found within.

Lunar eclipse is going to amplify your emotions and inner personality, so there will be a lot of fire and tempestuousness on offer. Be careful to think before you hurt yourself or another with spiteful or empty words. Use discretion and fact check all your info before using it as a tool of any kind. Full eclipse Moon will highlight Sagittarius want for freedom exponentially in a lot of areas.

A June Moon is our six month reset button, anything can happen, its all in the balance! Whatever you have placed your intention and energies into during the first three months of 2020 will now be ready to move on a phase or be released and no longer of service. A decision needs to be made. Will you continue with what has been happening or will you be thankful for the opportunity, release and move on?

There is also a Venus Rx (Retrograde) / Mars square to this Eclipse Full moon, which can be indicative of warring factions or all out war! It interprets the biggest influence on this month, relationships. I mean ALL relationships. We are fully charged with emotions right now. We can do one of two things. If we hold and nurse our issues, we learn by them, we stand a much better chance of re-emerging from this phase more self aware, more courageous, more vivacious, more, so much more. However, suppressing these emotions will only prolong the pain of continuation and perpetuate more of the same. As a result, we will continue to revisit until lessons are learned and peace is made within ourselves . I understand that this may be easier for some and not so for others, to come to terms with our inner demons as the Kali effect saturates our daily lives and modern world, rooting out the demons who have held sway in our minds, bodies and world. After all there is a thin line between a great cleansing and all out war!

In addition, we have the month's of manifestation and abundance before us, so it is important to remain grounded and present in this moment, living in as much harmony with the Mother Earth and all of our animal siblings as we can, in the knowledge and respect that we all continue to be part of the circle of life.

June welcomes Summer Solstice/ Litha in the Northern hemisphere and Winter solstice in the southern hemisphere. Both indicate the thinning of the veils between the worlds. Karmic issues may arise. Past life events and a feeling of being close to the ancestors may become more prevalent. I always feel closer to the ancients at this time of year.

Purpose needs a clear path ahead to gather momentum. Deal with all that surfaces with respect and honour. Feel into what is of another time and space and learn what it is trying to teach you. What message or purpose will you carry with you through the next half of 2020?

There is also a call to action occurring in a huge wave, whether political , environmental, both or other. It is entirely up to you to make a stand, but this wave is going to happen with or without you! Will you refuse the call and remain a witness or become a healer for the cause or will you take up the call to fight, metaphorically, physically, virtually, spiritually? I see a wave of water or people, either. Both are devastating and beautiful to behold and exhilarating to be part of. The choice is yours, nonetheless you will be called to find your inner warrior! There is work to be done....

Finally, and very briefly there are four planets in retrograde/ Rx which indicates a slowing down of their energies and possible rise of darker shadow sides of each. Venus is in Rx until June 25th, she is ruler of love, values & money. In retrograde, indicates looking at the world with different views, looking deeply into relationships.

Saturn is in Rx until September 29th. Saturn rules karma, justice, discipline and deconstructing control issues. In retrograde, suggests avoiding shortcuts and encourages being methodical.

Jupiter is in Rx until 12th September. Jupiter rules expansion, freedom, wisdom and travel, in retrograde suggests its time to seek the truth.

Pluto is in Rx until 4th October. Pluto rules transformation, death and regeneration. in retrograde Pluto suggests to go inward and work with shadow on issues such as our relationships with money, power, control and motivations.
