ASTRO: SUPER FULL BLUE MOON IN INTUITIVE PISCES

Astro: Super Full Blue Moon in intuitive Pisces

30-31/08/23 @ 2:35 GMT

All Hail & Welcome to Astro: Super Full Blue Moon in Watery Pisces.

This is the 2nd Full Moon in one month, the 3rd Supermoon for the Summer hence the name 'blue' Moon, as in 'once in a blue moon'. It is also the biggest & 3rd of 4 Supermoon’s of this year. It is a biggy sitting in watery Pisces. As we know, Supermoon can amplify cosmic offerings, so be aware to accept the flow of huge emotions this phase. There have been some shifts & planetary movements in preparation for this Moon phase. You may already be in receipt of some of those energies or emotions which have risen, making us feel slightly scattered or ready for a good old sort out. This is a very emotional moon, so get ready to feel into the big release which comes with such an intuitive moon & prepare yourself to truly let go.

Full Moon is a time of fruition, of all that was begun at New Moon. This moon is a good for looking back on intentions set & situations around March & Spring time, as we are now reaping what we’ve sown. We will be feeling an emotional heightening at Full phase which will have an effect on our relationships, romance & intentions. This is a time of abundance & fulfilment, intuition & is emotionally charging. We can choose to go with the flow or we can fight it, the choice is ours alone. Having said that its always a good idea to take a look at what cosmic energies are offering us at this time. This is a time for tapping into our senses, feeling into what is happening rather than seeing or thinking into it. Using our own intuition will be part of the theme of this lunation. Another theme is surrender which is another way to ‘allow’ ourselves to, slow down, see the bigger picture, give ourselves permission to appreciate what we have, enjoy self care more. In addition, we are also being asked to offer our unconditional love to our partner by being attentive, listening & supportive. This goes both ways too, so the support we give may be that which we need ourselves. Allowing ourselves to feel into this with our wholeness will find balance.

Sun in Virgo - Virgo is the Virgin Goddess. A representation of personal wholeness & being able to rely on ourselves independently. She is the Earthy, hip wriggling goddess who salsa’s into our lives & really gets us going, whipping up well needed space for self care routines whilst reorganising our daily schedules to fit our ambitions. She is the one who will bring alignment issues to be addressed until we are in that place of equilibrium, ready for the next season.

Ask:

What can I do for myself right now? (slip away from everyone else’s wants & needs, take a look at where we may need to pay more attention to ourselves in order to thrive)

What can I change to make space to be in alignment with my true self?

(what hurdles do we place in front of ourselves? Time to step aside & get out of our own way!)

Moon in Pisces - Pisces is the sign of the fishes. One travels upstream for knowledge & clarity, the other goes with the flow of the all visionary, healing waters. Pisces is dreamy, fairly unclear, slightly confusing, possibly chaotic, depending on how we are dealing with the magickal mist before us. Pisces will ask us to go with its flow because it is deeply embedded in vision & spiritual health. It governs our spiritual tools which we use to progress our spirituality. We are being encouraged to use our intuition & to trust that whatever is unfolding is entirely for our progressive highest good.

Pisces is a very sensitive sign & as a result we will become more aware of the gentle energetic changes around us, in others & the way people think.

In addition, an incredibly intuitive sign ruling spirituality, so is a fabulous time to reconnect to spiritual level activities, finding blocks & clearing them, opening ourselves to intuition.

As the last sign of the zodiac, endings are a big thing with this Moon. Its often a time of huge endings. With the ability to reach into our subconscious, we can prepare to identify, acknowledge & release unnecessary baggage, blocks, repetitious habits which need addressing, for us to move on with a much more healthy look at the whys, what’s & where fors of the life we are co-creating.

In addition to learning what has & has not worked out for us this year, it is a great time to begin to share the knowledge of our findings with others.

Ask:

What reflection of myself in others have I seen & wish to work on or release?

Where do I see or feel that something in my life is coming to is end?

How do I detach myself gently without hurting myself or others?

Sun opposite Moon is all about finding the balance between Virgo sun & Piscean Moon. This axis between is known as the service axis which encourages us to find an equilibrium between our daily functions, schedules & physical health. Virgo is a representation of the confident, successful, independent woman standing in her own divine sovereignty. She demands order in our personal sphere & daily tasks, as she rules these areas. On the other hand, Pisces encourages a certain amount of disorder. Pisces rules vision, spiritual well-being & the infinite, whilst holding the tools for our spiritual selves. By recognising & expressing our spiritual needs we need to maintain order in our daily lives. By ignoring either we will cause imbalance, chaos & upset the order of balance we can find for ultimate clarity & flow in both areas. Find the happy medium between order & disorder.

Planetary influences

This is the Biggy!

Full Moon conjunct (in the same sign or next to) Saturn - Saturn is the taskmaster & master of Karma in the zodiac. What Saturn does will highlight areas in life that we need to work on or release, either way areas needing high concentration of will & vision. Saturn brings us into cycles of accomplishment & fulfilment, which could become frustratingly slow. Moreover, Saturn is opening us to wisdom & the truth of our deepest longings. Saturn is also in Pisces, hence being conjunct/ next to, in the same sign as the Full Moon. As Pisces rules the 12th house of the zodiac chart, we may be dealing with rules, restrictions, suppression, karma & the unravelling of ourselves. We may also discover secret enemies, as the darker side of this aspect. Typically we will be entering a time of huge change & endings, as Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac, ruling this area of life.

We are being heavily urged to take accountability for ourselves & thus our self discipline & inner strength; using pro-activity to fight the slowing processes of this aspect; using this time of lacuna to become present in this moment; using caution & moderating our habits to enable us to build a strong foundation to build for the future we envisage; learning to understand that nothing falls into our laps unless we put in the effort to attain that which eludes us now. Saturn will take time & teaches us that to achieve our goals we must work some way toward that end. It teaches us how to pace ourselves to avoid burnout. We are being encouraged to declutter, clarify & hone in on the following areas of our lives:

Mental & emotional wellness

Spiritual practice

Dreams, visions & ethics

How we manage our own time & social habits , by utilising meditation, rest, self care & reflection

Empathy & understanding

Ask:

Where can I clear out the obsolete whilst keeping in mind quality?

How can I become more aware in my personal & spiritual life?

What new ways of being can I adopt into spending my own time healthily & fruitfully?

There is a great message within this article, to slow down, take stock & simplify life, to enable much more fulfilment. Be authentically you!
