When all has calmed And the time has come When you find some space
To be alone Think of me sitting there Next to you in the chair I'm holding your hand I'm hugging you tight I'm stroking your hair On this fair night I'm holding this space for you in grace For all you've done and all you'll do Without me here Being next to you One more farewell To kiss you softly And lull to sleep
As we drift apart gently.... From this sacred space © Sheela Adhar 2018
